I’m recently single and in my 40’s. I’ve tried all sorts of things with dating and nothing seems to be going right. I’m wondering if the cause could be my crooked teeth, but I’m hesitant to get braces at my age. I doubt a face full of metal will attract dates and I’m concerned about the length of time I would have to wear braces. Is it worth the time and worth looking goofy? Will braces even work on adults?

Unfortunately she said no, probably because I asked her out to coffee.” While there could be other reasons why you’re getting the cold shoulder like Jarod did, a recent survey conducted by Match.com suggests that you could be right that your smile is holding you back. Rather than traditional metal braces that are cemented to your teeth and are unsightly to some, Invisalign uses clear aligners, that are undetectable to others at a conversational distance, to correct your smile.
